At KELYN Technologies, community is important, and supporting organizations in our communities that make a real difference is woven into the fabric of who we are. Our KELYN Cares program takes pride in supporting initiatives that resonate with our values and bring about meaningful change. This season, we’re honored to spotlight Freedom Service Dogs of America and its mission of transforming lives through the partnership of custom-trained assistance dogs.

FSD former officeFreedom Service Dogs is not just an organization; it’s a beacon of hope. They have been dedicated since 1987 to empowering individuals to lead fuller lives. Their clients include veterans grappling with PTSD, children and teenagers facing the challenges of autism and other neurocognitive disorders, as well as individuals with physical disabilities like cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries. The impact of a service dog in these individuals’ lives is profound, turning the once impossible into a heartwarming reality.

Freedom Service Dogs of America

For people with disabilities, a custom-trained assistance dog from FSD can open the door to new possibilities. Instead of a life limited by difficulties, fears, and frustrations over what they cannot do, our clients and their service dogs discover all they are capable of doing—together. With their service dog at their side, FSD clients regain lost independence and feel more comfortable in crowds. They learn to reconnect with loved ones and take on challenges with confidence. They find that what was once impossible is now possible, and they experience greater self-esteem, happiness, and hope.

We’re proud to play a role in supporting this great organization through a charitable donation. Contributions like these play a vital role in sustaining the remarkable work of Freedom Service Dogs. This four-star nonprofit organization thrives not just on donations, but also on the spirit of volunteerism, offering opportunities such as puppy sitting and puppy raising.

KELYN Cares’ donation is more than just a monetary gift; it’s a tribute to our veterans and others in our community who benefit from the work of Freedom Service Dogs.
